‘We’ve Got What It Takes’ is a masterpiece by Khaelang, a 16 years old female elephant who has an appealing and accomplished painting style using long, curling vertical strokes that can be both concave and convex within the same artwork. The completed composition is nearly always well balanced and centered, as we see in this painting, which sets down a weaving pattern of long dancing brushstrokes in deep Mars Black color, among which two perfectly positioned long-tailed brushstrokes in shining Gold color create that ‘wow’ effect that says ‘we’ve made it’.
