Rising Above It All by Khaelang

‘Rising Above It All’ is a masterpiece by Khaelang, a 16 years old female elephant who has an appealing and accomplished painting style using long, curling vertical strokes that can be both concave and convex within the same artwork. The completed composition is nearly always well balanced and centered, as we see in this painting, which sets down a weaving pattern of long dancing brushstrokes in deep Mars Black color, out from which two short strokes in a dramatic Orange color are seen rising above the fray.
