Leaving It All Behind by Aleena

‘Leaving It All Behind’ is a painting by Aleena, who made her debut for TEAG in 2016 at 12 years of age and delighted us with her assured style of bold vertical strokes. Her style changed each year thereafter from strokes to small dabs and sometimes a combination of the two. By 2025 every painting became a pleasant surprise as she expressed her emotions of the day through the paintbrush. This lovely painting shows omni-directional, intertwined brushstrokes, painted in Dark Chocolate, Emerald and Khaki Green colors, with a long stroke racing up above the top of the page.
