Awakened Dreams by Khaelang

‘Awakened Dreams’ is a beautiful work by Khaelang, a 16 years old female elephant who has an appealing and accomplished painting style using long, curling vertical strokes that can be both concave and convex within the same artwork. The completed composition is nearly always well balanced and centered, as we see in this painting, which sets down a weaving, snakelike pattern of long brushstrokes in deep Mars Black color, over which there are two long-tailed strokes in a Copper color.
